FORT HALL — Damage caused by high winds on Monday, September 7 left many in the dark. Many of the outages were caused by downed lines. On Tuesday morning, entire trees were seen uprooted, some split and broken.
Outages were reported across the region calling for Idaho Power crews to work through Monday night to return power to customers. However, areas on the reservation were still without power Tuesday night.

According to the Idaho Power Facebook page additional resources were sent to eastern Idaho to help restore power and the outage could possibly extend to Wednesday.
