Daisey Hood & family sponsor Buffalo Lodge Youth Handgame tourney

FORT HALL — Daisey Hood and family sponsored a youth handgame tournament on January 6 at Buffalo Lodge.

It was the second year having the youth tourney. Daisey raised money from a raffle during the craft fairs and collected other donations.


Youth handgame winners, from left: 1st place Kyree Tinno, Reden Kutch and Gabrielle Appenay; 2nd place winners: Logan Wahtomy, Braxton Wahtomy and K’Shawn Trujillo.

The youth winners received drum, handgame sets, medallions and cash. The winners are: first-Kyree Tinno, Reden Kutch and Gabrielle Appenay, $800, second-Logan Wahtomy, Braxton Wahtomy and K’Shawn Trujillo, $500, third-Wyle Reed, Wyatt Reed and Amberlynn Healy, $400, fourth-Tanner Countryman, Zaryah Heard, T.J. Heard and Zendaiya Heard, $150, fifth-Phillip Martin, Little Martin, and Winfred Martin, $150.
