American Falls High School Powwow royalty & contest results


2024-2025 American Falls High School Powwow royalty.

AMERICAN FALLS — The American Falls High School Powwow was January 27 at American Falls High School.
Catching Eagle served as host drum. Tyson Shay was the master of ceremonies and Tyrelle Other Medicine was the arena director. A meal was also served after the afternoon session.

Contest winners were hand-picked by judges with the youth and teen contests during the afternoon session, along with the golden age and adults during the evening session.

The American Falls School District also crowned new royalty at AFHS Powwow.

Cynthia Amboh is the William Thomas Middle School Princess.

TrisStann Stacey is the J.R. Simplot Elementary Junior Princess and Jacoba Rydalch is the J.R. Simplot Junior Princess first attendant.

Haviolah Poog is the Hillcrest Elementary Junior Princess.

Following are the winners from the contest powwow.

Junior boys fancy: First Jax Hernandez. Junior boys grass: First: Redon Kutch, second Jon Hernandez and third Malino Lopez. Junior boys traditional: First: Trastan Beasley and second Zeme Soldier.

Junior girls fancy: First: Camry Buckskin, second Paisley Pokibro and third Evah Dann. Junior girls jingle: First: Sydney Farmer, second Tristann Stacey and third Amilyah Denny. Junior girls traditional: First: Ambrey Keeswood, second Camella Appenay and third Ellanis Stagner.

Teen boys fancy: First: Tristan Cornpeach. Teen boys grass: First: Tanner Countryman, Jay Hernandez and third Devin Pebeahsy. Teen boys traditional: First: Indian Dann Cornpeach, second Ashton Fish and third Guy Gurrin.

Teen girls fancy: First: A Dion, second Gabrielle Appenay and third Ashra Benally. Teen girls jingle: First: Arianna Cook, second Carolina Copperfield and third Aliya Beasley. Teen girls traditional: First: Susan Avila-Dixey, second Ceara Vera and third Envy Beasley.

Adult men grass: First: Makiya Denny, second Cailan Dann and third Josh Neaman. Men’s traditional: First: James Tone, second Francis Dion and third Chasen Coby.

Adult women fancy: First: Gorgeous Lee, second Kayla Dann and third Joetta Bitsui. Adult women jingle: First December Ariwite, second Natalie LaFontaine and third Georgette Running Eagle. Adult women traditional: First: Ontaria Ariwite, second Dolly Colene and third Shayna Martin.

Golden age combined men: First: James Tone, second James Reeder.

Golden age women: First: Brenda Honena, second Sandy Ariwite and third Leona Ariwite.

Drums: Hillside, Spring Creek, Scouts, Blue Spring and Young Agency.
