Annie said it’s her first son and she’s happy to have him.
His grandparents are Bessie and Eddy Nappo and Gary Weiser and Roxanne Steady. They reside in Gibson.
Annie and Sam would like to thank St. Luke’s Hospital staff for helping them deliver and take care of the baby in the 2.5 weeks they were in the hospital. She’s grateful to all the nurses for keeping him happy.
They also want to thank the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, Fort Hall Business Council, and the 477 Consumer Services Program for their assistance in getting baby back home.
Annie said she was pretty surprised with Niko coming early and being the first Reservation New Year’s Baby.
Niko received numerous gifts from the community and various programs.
