FORT HALL — There were 37 graduates from the Head Start and Early Childhood Preschool Program who celebrated by taking part in the Superhero Graduation Parade on Saturday, May 29.
Parent Committee Chairman, Stephanie Skunkcap, explained there were 26 graduates from Head Start and 1 from Preschool.
“I’m really glad we were able to do this parade and give the kids these nice gifts as a parting gift to celebrate their Head Start graduation,” she said.
She thanked the parents for their fundraising efforts this year, in which they made money selling raffle tickets, popcorn and cotton candy.

“I just want to thank all the parents and the community members who supported our Head Start kids this year. I’m just glad our parade was a success and was a lot of fun,” she said.
Miss Shoshone-Bannock Ontaria Arrow White was set up near the end of the parade route, where she stopped each car float and gave a special gift to the graduate for achieving their goal.
She said she was proud of the graduates and happy for them.
“It’s an honor to be part of the parade and my advice is to keep going with your education, reach for your goals, don’t have anyone stop you and just do your best,” said Arrow White.
