Sho-Ban Tribes appoints David Archuleta to Associate Tribal Judge
Associate Judge David Archuleta for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.

FORT HALL – The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes announce the appointment of David Archuleta as Associate Tribal Judge David Archuleta, effective July 27.
Archuleta is a Shoshone-Bannock Tribal member and will serve the Fort Hall community as part of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Court.
Judge Archuleta brings 12 years of judicial experience to the position. He completed the Tribal Court Course and earned a Certification in Judicial Studies from the National Judicial College, an institution that provides training for Federal, Tribal, and State judges nationwide.
Entering his new role, Judge Archuleta has committed to serving the community with fairness and impartiality.
He said, “We all bring our life and work experiences to the job. I feel the training I received from others and working closely with several people over the years helps me be a better judge.”
With this appointment, Judge Archuleta will no longer be able to provide legal advice or represent individuals as a Tribal Court Advocate.
Judge Archuleta is a U.S. Navy wartime veteran, having served aboard the USS Benjamin Stoddert (DDG‑22), the last warship to leave Vietnam. He attended Idaho State University and the University of Washington.
