BLACKFOOT — Blackfoot High School senior and tribal member Nathan Tinno was announced Homecoming King at an assembly and participated in the BHS Homecoming Parade on Thursday, October 14.

He follows in his older brother Evan Moss footsteps who was also Homecoming King in 2019. Tinno was nominated by his advisory classes. He said he was little nervous because he knew that it was a 50/50 shot of him losing or winning. But when his name was announced he jumped up and was really excited.

Tadraschell Sister Murray, Family Liaison for Blackfoot High, said that things went awesome during the Homecoming parade. She was also happy for Nathan Tinno who is the president of BHS Indigenous club and Prairie Caldwell was named 1st Attendant to Homecoming Queen.

Miss Indian BHS Nivea Oliva waves to the crowd.
