Fort Hall Business Counci: No December per capita payment

FORT HALL — The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes officially announced there will be no per capita distribution in December because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Tribes Finance office explained when the Tribal audit report is released, if there is a profit for the year, they will work with the Fort Hall Business Council on a possible per capita in June of 2021, in accordance to the Gaming Revenue Distribution Plan.

The Shoshone-Bannock Casino revenue was and is still unpredictable and the casino staff is doing the best they can to keep the doors open to gain revenue and keep their employees working.

The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes apologize for any inconvenience it may cause to the tribal membership. In addition, the Finance office will send out official notification to the Social Security Administration office so payments are not disrupted for the month of December.
